When I was in Madison last month, my big purchase at The Sewcial Lounge was fabric for new pillows for my family room. They had beautiful rolls of The Grove Organic Home Dec fabrics by Birch Fabrics.

As usual I couldn't narrow down what colors I wanted to use, so I picked pretty much them all (except the brown, it would blend too much into my couch).

Seeing Anna finish her pillows motivated me to get going on mine. I'd been hesitating because I always dread installing the invisible zipper. But she actually linked to a great tutorial on Sew Katie Did's blog and guess what? I'm not scared anymore! It was so easy!

The two blue pillows are 20" x 20" and the red and yellow pillows are 18" x 18". I bought my down inserts at Crate and Barrel.
Since these fabrics are a Home Dec weight, I think they will hold up nicely to the abuse that comes at the hands of a 4 and 6 year old.
