Solstice Stars Series

Fabric Requirements: I estimate that each 12.5 inch (unfinished) quilt block will take the equivalent of a fat quarter to make.

Quilting Basics: There are many helpful online tutorials for beginning quilters–Elizabeth Hartman of Oh Fransson! has a great series here: Quilt Making Basics.

Advanced Techniques: We will be doing some paper piecing and most likely some y-seams. I will provide instructions in the tutorials, but if you’d like to get a jump start on learning these new skills, you can find tutorials on my blog here (paper piecing) and here (y-seams).
