Let’s Get This Party Started

First Blocks - couldn't resist cutting!

Just call me Faith, collector of quilt tops. Seriously though, I have the fronts and backs finished for my last two quilts I’ve shown you, so I let myself cut into my new Denyse Schmidt fabric Just.This.Once. I had the itch, I’ve scratched it, and now I will go back to finishing my other two before continuing this one. :)

I love how you used the blue floral stripe in alternating directions! The colors look great together, you have a very creative brain :)

love it! I’m struggling with design. I get cutting fright. Its like even though I’m all set and ready to go, I have a hard time cutting up the beautiful patterns. Weird I know, I always end up loving the quilt more that the fabric alone.

    Cheers!

So fun! It’s great to see these fabrics in blocks and really start to imagine the possibilities with them – don’t have any myself yet but hope to pick them up down the line :)
