Mail Day!
My sister, niece and nephew came to visit this weekend, so I probably don’t need to tell you that not much sewing got done while they were here. It was a fun visit filled with deep dish pizza, Chicago hot dogs, shopping at the mall (which I never get to do!) and basically just relaxing and having fun. My kids were SO excited to see there cousins.
I do have some new fabric to show you though! These beauties came today from Fabric.com. I really do love that store, but I have to wonder who taught them to fold their fabric? It always comes a mess and I have to refold it all. I think they need to watch Jeni’s videos. LOL
Three of the above prints are from the Timeless Treasures Sunny Daze collection. The white print with orange bursts is Hoffman Fabrics Spring Fever Dandelion. It coordinates quite well with the others.
I am planning on finishing my Munki quilt today {yippee!}. It is once again very cold here and I’m starting to think Mother Nature forgot all about Spring for us northerners. They are saying snow this week! Sigh, here’s hoping for a nice weekend at least.

Cousin time is awesome
Yay for mall shopping too! haha
I hate when fabric comes all wonky and poorly folded too.
The BEST folded fabric, I’ve found, is from Hawthorne Threads… just saying!
Its still freaking cold in Ohio too – Mother Nature better get on the ball and quite piddle-jacking around with us! Where is Spring?!?
Those are some fabulous fabrics! love love love
Have fun with them
I like those fabrics. I love the FREE shipping deal that website has. I have been ordering from them for a couple of years now.
What is a Munky quilt?
Hi there! Munki Munki is actually a clothing company where some of the designs were by fabric designer Heather Ross. Now {weirdos?} like me cut them up and use the fabric in quilts because it is SO cute! You can actually buy sleeves, pant legs, etc of the fabric on Etsy.

And then other rarer/out of print designs are traded on Flickr.
Hope that helps!
I was going on a fabric-buying freeze, until I saw the orange dandelions. Thanks (I guess….)
We had fun too. I made pillows today, a start!
