Improv Special Delivery
I created this block last night for the “secret mission” group, Project Improv. This is a result of randomly grabbing at fabrics and sewing them together with no real plan. I did excitedly throw in a little of the fabric I dyed last fall (the stripe). This block will join many others to become a really cool quilt for a special mom-to-be.
I’m also really happy to be joining efforts with several other modern quilters to raise money for survivors of the disaster in Japan. Please visit Modern Relief – Japan and stay tuned for more details very, very soon.

Beautiful colors. Looks like a fun project.
Looks great – Keep us posted on the finished quilt
I’m yet to find actual instructions on how to put one of these types of blocks together. Would you please post some? Thnx!
