In celebration of the completion of my Echino Squared quilt, I have a beautiful stack of Echino fabrics to giveaway to a lucky reader! Each piece in this collection is 12″ x 18″ – lots of fun bright fabrics for a special project. So come out, come out wherever you are and enter!

Wow! It’s so cool finding someone else from Chicago in the blog-o-sphere.
I would definitely make a quilt with these fabrics. I really can’t afford them, but one of my friends and I split 1/2 yard bundles sometimes, just so we can each have a little bit for quilting, and I got some Echinos for us yesterday. So I only have a few prints, and none of the ones you are giving away, lol!

I have been pining for Echino … unfortunately, my med-student budget doesn’t seem to care. This summer I’m taking time off and I’m finally going to start a new quilt for my bed! (I threw out my old comforter and had planned to make a new quilt this year, but it never happened. I live in upstate NY so eventually I had to just buy something from Target … lol.)
I’ve been really ready for Spring and flowers, so I’d make a tote bag for the pool with a vinyl lining on the side pocket for wet things.

These would be perfect for a white background with either square or circles of the echino set inside the background. Sort of a take on your stepping stones quilt. I would keep it all to myself…although I probably have to share with my dog who insists on cudlding under the blanket. Echino is so yum, and with it being pricey I have only a bit that I pet regularly…My plan is to make a ‘man quilt’ for the Mr. with echino and your giveaway would be perfect for it! I think the feel and deep colors of echino as well as the some of the prints make it perfect to use for non girly quilts.
I’ve been having an apron frenzy lately. That, and making reusable gift bags.
I think I’d make some tote bags for my girls.

I think Echino makes amazing bags. I would love to use these pieces to make some clutches or makeup bags. Or I may be tempted to make a small quilt …

Wow! I’ve never even touched Echino fabrics before but I’ve coveted them forever. I’m not certain what I’d make, but I’d sure it’d involve fussy cutting some of those gorgeous prints!
