100th Post Giveaway….(ok, 109th)
I mentioned a few posts ago that I had hit the 100 post mark on my blog. I really can’t believe I’ve had that much to say, but it’s been great creating, sharing and getting to know some really talented people. It’s time to celebrate!
You might remember the gorgeous selection of Dolce fabric I bought a couple months ago. It’s time to share the love. The winner of this giveaway will receive a sampling of every fabric you see above. Most pieces are around 11″ x 26″. A couple are a little smaller…one is an entire yard. Plenty of fabric to create something amazing!
All you need to do is leave a comment – you can tell me something about yourself, let me know what you would like to do with the fabric, anything you’d like. Comments close Wednesday evening, May 5th at 6:00pm. I’ll randomly select a winner on Thursday, May 6th. Good luck!
Comments are closed – good luck everyone!

I bought a new machine today. Oh, it was an electrifying and horrifying experience. It’s a Husqvarna Viking and I still haven’t taken it out of the box because the price tag hasn’t quite hit me yet.
I bought it to make myself a quilt (hmm, that hasn’t happened yet). So, if I win the fabric, it will be part of my first quilt for me.
So bring it on Mr. random number picker! PIck me! Pick me!
I suppose that would mean I have to open the box. yikes!

Congrats, Faith! I love the Dolce line, but have yet to break down to purchase any. This would be a great addition to my stash–the colors are just gorgeous!
Thanks for the giveaway! I love your blog. I think that I would use these fabrics in a quilt made from a pattern in the first issue of Fat Quarterly…the Bedtime Story quilt but made with more than one block so that it is throw-sized.

Congrats on your milestone!!! I’ve been admiring this fabric and would love to make market bags with it!!!
I’m thinkin’ I like those fabrics. I’ve never used modern fabrics in a quilt and I’m thinking it’s about time. Thanks for the inspiration
Something about me: I’m learning that there is a HUGE difference in quality between fabric bought at a discount/big box/chain store and designer fabric bought at a quilt shop or online. I much prefer the good stuff and hate that I wasted so much money building up a stash of the mediocre stuff!
Happy 109th blog post!!
Ohhhh, I would love some more fabric to feed my addiction!!
Congrats on your 100th post !…I’m a fabric addict and love any thing pretty…sorry no prim for me..I’m a mum of 3 grown boys who have given me 3 beautiful grand daughters the latest just a week old and I would love to make something for them to love and hold especially in those lovely Dolce fabrics.

Congrats! I love your quilts and sewing. My husband has put me on a fabric diet, so I’d love a way to sneak something new in
The Dolce fabrics are lovely! I actually have a summer handbag planned in a piece of fabric from this line at the moment – I’d combine a few of them and make it a patchwork bag in some way. For the rest, they’d go great in various quilts I have in the works already!
Hi Faith!
I’m Alisa, a Christian wife and mom to 5 children. I love to sew and quilt (obviously or I wouldn’t have your blog in my feeds!) I live in British Columbia, Canada which is a beautiful place to live. We live in the Fraser Valley which is a very lush, but at times wet, place to live. I have been to Chicago before but all I remember is that it is a huge, busy city. Do you live in the city or in a suburb?
Thanks for the giveaway!
Alisa
Hi, my name is Amy & I follow you on flickr (Or is that only a facebook concept? I don’t facebook – if that is a verb…) Anywho, I would use some of this to make a postage stamp quilt. I have started one of those a couple of times now, but I m now ready & I want it to be full of “designer” goodness. These would be mixed with Heather Ross, Kaffe Fassett, Amy Butler, Heather Bailey & others so you know that they will be in good company.
Happy milestone.
Oh, la la! Congrats on your 100th post! What a lovely giveaway! I would love some fresh new spring fabrics to start some Denyse Schmidt-style Drunk love blocks! crossing my fingers! xo

Wow! What a giveaway! I’ve been eyeballing that line for a while now and would love to win this! I’m starting my ’10 Christmas gift quilts and I have a cousin in college who would love a quilt with these colors. Thank you, and happy 109th!
Happy 109 post day! I’m 5 days away from being done with exams and being able to pull out my sewing machine again, can’t wait! I’m so glad that you’re blogging all of your work. I love peeking in on what you’re up to, especially since I know you’re doing it with two kids!:)
Congrats on 109 posts! You are so generous to do such a gorgeous giveaway. If I won I would use those beautiful fabrics to make more hexagons for my first quilt. I just started making hexagons and I think I have about 75 right now so thousands more to go! If I had any leftovers I would use them in a scrappy quilt (which would be my second).
galaxie_bleu[at]yahoo[dot]com
The fabric is beautiful! I’m not sure what I would make with it…maybe a patchwork pillow or something of that sort…well, maybe more than one pillow. I just purchased a new sewing machine last month, so I have been sewing away nearly every chance I get.
What lovely stacks of fabric! I would definitely make a quilt. something about myself…I just got my garden (the early stuff) planted, and I am so excited…I love to garden.

Thanks for the opportunity to win such beautiful fabrics. I have so many quilts I want to make! I love your rainbow block quilt and hope to make one soon. I am a grandma who loves quilting, gardening and playing with my grandkids.
What a great giveaway! So many quilts to make, clothes for little girls and for a girl can never have enough bags, right? For some reason I just love Dolce for bags. Have made a few and have been wanting to make a few more! Congrats on the 109th post!
Happy 100th!! I would love to try a quilt with these, what a wonderful giveaway.
These fabrics (and your blog) are great! I would love to make myself a quilt- finally one for me:)

Congratulations on 100!!! I enjoy your blog and your quilts are lovely! What a fantastic giveaway-very generous! I would love to make a quilt with these lovely prints.
Love this fabric! Gorgeous. I live in Australia and have a little boy so very rarely get to sew any pink girly things. I just love pink and aqua together… beautiful! This would make a gorgeous quilt!
Recently I’ve become really interested in using up my scraps on small projects that can add color around the house. I have a two year old and am expecting another little one any day now, so any project that is small, completed relatively quickly, and doesn’t require a trip out to the fabric store is perfect for me and the family right now!
Hi Faith, I’m Theresa and from Adelaide in South Australia. Those fabrics are gorgeous and seeing as I’m on a bit of a half square triangle path at the moment I’d probably use them in for that…..then again, I just purchased a kaleidescope ruler ad could have a bit of fun with a whole bunch of different degrees to 45….or a 45 but different to 1/2 square!!!! Great job on your ’100th’! Love your work.
Congratulations! I love your blog, thanks for the chance!
Those fabrics are just gorgeous, thanks for the chance at your giveaway! My random comment: Once I had a dream that I was possessed by an evil quilt! I had a cut on my arm and a thread from the quilt got into the cut and possessed me. Then the two handsome young men from that show Supernatural came and were able to save me. Gosh that was a weird dream.
Just found you and will be adding you to my fav list for sure. Am getting more and more drawn to this modern quilt movement. Keep making those wonderful quilts! Congrats on the 109th post and please pick me, those are mighty tempting fabrics. Be well! KT-M

Enjoy reading your blog.
Congratulations on the milestone! The fabrics would make a lovely lap quilt for my mum (mom)…thanks for the chance.
I love all these bold and geometric patterns, but when I go to the store, I fall into the old traditional stuff. I need to be PUSHED out of my box.
Thanks for the fun!
Beautiful fabric! I’m currently working on a modern baby quilt, and this appeals to my orange and aqua fetish.
Hi,
I have been a machine quilter for over 10 years. I also have added an Intelliquilter (computerized) to my Gammill. The fabrics look scrumptious and my first thought was to make little Sunday aprons for all my little Granddaughters, to keep their nice Sunday dresses clean at Sunday dinner at Grandma and Grandpa’s!!!
Thanks for the chance!!!!
Wow congratulations and thank you for sharing your quilting passion with us all in blog land. Love your blog, so inspirational. Happy Stitching
That really is a gorgeous collection…I would make another quilt for my daughter’s bed – we’re definitely going to be needing 2 quilts this winter, and that colour scheme would be absolutely perfect for her room.

Happy 100th Post!! I hope to have as many visitors by my 100th post as you – but probably not since its only about 14 posts away! You make gorgeous quilts (and clothes!) and I love coming to see the inspiration. Thanks for the giveaway!
What a generous giveaway! If I win these fabrics, I’ll make a summer quilt to use outside on the patio. I’m planning to spend lots of time outside reading and I’m going to need a light, sunny quilt, naturally.
I love this fabric–congratulations and thanks for the giveaway!
i love this line and i havent been able to find it at my local quilt shop…they are always out of stock !!
I love your blog — especially since I’m also in Chicago! Happy 100th post!
Hi Faith!
I’m a student here in Chicago and I’m just finishing up my last week of classes. I’ve been dreaming of making my first quilt for over a year and this summer I think I’ll get a chance! I’m very new to it all and just learning. Your blog has been my favourite that I have seen and you always inspire me to keep going with my studies so I can get to the sewing machine! I received my very first jellyroll in the mail last week but tucked it away so I could concentrate on studying for exams! Can’t wait to pull it out and get started! I am so excited to start my own collection of beautiful fabric…and yours would be a lovely start!
Blessings on you!
I sooo love this fabric. I don’t know what I would do with it just yet. Probably just admire it for a little while. Happy Anniversary!
I had the pleasure of making a quilt from this line for a commissioned piece. It is beautiful – but it left me wanting MORE. I love that you have all the colorways here – that could make a fantastic quilt all together!!
Something about me:
I detest avocados. Yechhh.
Oooh….. I’d make a spiderweb quilt! Congrats!
holy moly! what a generous giveaway! since i almost exclusively quilt, i am sure i would make a quilt with this beautiful fabric!
Gorgeous fabric. I just started quilting last fall and am slowly building my stash.
I would love to win this giveaway. I would use the fabric to make a table runner for my dining table as I need to cheer myself up. Great blog.
That is very kind of you. The colors of the fabric is yummy – that is why I usually get hungry when doing my crafts.
May 5th is my birthday, maybe it will bring me some luck!
If I won I would make a pillow (or two) and bed runner for my bed.
Lovely! I’d use them in a quilt – I have a pile of soft, feminine fabric scraps that these would blend perfectly with for a quilt.
Happy Blogoversary!!
I would love those fabrics and would make a quilt with them, especially now that the semester is over and I have the ENTIRE summer free from study and much more time for sewing. Yay!!
I LOVE these fabrics. I would probably make a baby quilt. They are so sweet!
i have a little baby on the way!!! i don’t know the sex yet, but that sure would make something darling for a little girl. a few may even work for a boy. congrats on your blog success!!!
Congratulations on 109 posts! Love your blog, thanks for all the inspirations, and thank you for the giveaway!
Lately I’ve been using fabrics with white in them. I love your selection. It would be great to create a quilt with them. Many happy returns on your blog.
Hi, I enjoy peeking in at your blog. I am new to quilting but love it. I think I’d have to make something for my daughter if I won this pretty fabric.
What a fantastic giveaway! I’d make a quilt of course because that’s what I do!
