Lighthouse Quilt Top Ready!

A little update ~ I have indeed been busy sewing this week! Well, my mornings anyway. I’ve finished the paper piecing, trimming, quilt blocks and top assembly. All that’s left is quilting and binding, which hopefully I will get done today.

Can’t wait to show you the quilt and get ready for the quilt along!

I agree with everyone. Absolutely beautiful and your color choices are perfection. You pieced a gorgeous quilt top and I am sure the quilting will add to the design.

Faith, The colors are great. Just one question, what is a quilt along? Do you get a fabric pak or purchase your own.?Can you explain a little?

Wow, your quilt is so beautiful, you put the colors together just right. It reminds me of stained glass because it is so colorful.

This is gorgeous! I know this fabric line isn’t out yet, and I can’t find any information about it on the Windham website or Marcia’s website. Do you have any idea when it is going to be released?

Hi Anne – I’m not sure of the release date, but let me see what I can find out. I know this quilt is for the Fall Quilt Market booth (end of October), so I’m guessing it will be some time after that.

Oh Faith, I love it!!! It’s so pretty, it reminds me of like a stained glass window of an old church or something! I can’t wait for the quilt along!

The quilt dances with joy. This pattern has so much movement without the usage of patterned fabrics. I really thank you for the inspiration. Great quilt and as always thanks for sharing.
