Snowball of Love

Snowball Love Front

I was getting itchy to cut into my new Amy Butler Love fat quarters. So once again, I stopped everything else I was working on and created a baby snowball quilt. I wanted to do something that would showcase the big prints. My favorite is the orange and purple fabric in the middle snowball – love it!

The back is simply strips of the fabric – again in an effort to display the large prints. This line is really growing on me the more I look at it. I’m definitely going to go back to the quilt store and buy some more!

This quilt is a 21″ square and was quilted free motion. I used a couple of the prints for the binding. I think it’d be quite cute in a baby nursery or on a tabletop.

I love (haha) those prints together like that. I think the tiny size shows them off very well. I’d put it on my table. :)

This is a great way to show off that fabric! I’m getting ready to start a snowball quilt, so I’m happy to see this example.

I love the Love fabrics more every time I look at them. Your quilt is so cute — I see more AB Love in your future :)

How fast did you whip that up! I’ve hardly begun sewing together the pieces for my quilt and here you are churning out another one!

Very cute! That’s a perfect way to showcase awesome prints – I may need to do a smaller version for my tea table decorations. Aren’t little quilts just the most fun – instant gratification at its best!
