There’s some exciting stuff going on right now in the small business and modern quilting world. Martha Stewart and Martha Stewart Living are hosting a competition, hoping to find some creative small businesses to support.
Heather Jones of Olive and Ollie (and fellow Quilt Camp teacher!) is one of the 100 finalists for the Audience Choice Awards! The winner receives $10,000 to help further their business and as you can imagine, lots of national exposure. For anyone that has tried to start a venture on their own, you know this is a huge deal and could really be life changing. I love entrepreneurs and am really excited that the Modern Quilting community is represented in this contest.
