Fabric Friday

Believe it or not, this weekend I will be wrapping up my third quilt and pattern in as many weeks. I’m actually quite exhausted. And I can’t show any of them to you yet. It’s a bit frustrating but I promise they will be worth the wait when I can share. Two of them are for Quilt Market, so you will see photos of those sooner rather than later.
So today I thought I would share some fabric photos! The fabric in the top picture in this post is RJR Fabrics solids. They sent me this stack for a project that I will share with you in a few months. I had never worked with their fabrics before and I can tell you that I am very happy with the quality of their solids. They feel super soft and have a wonderful drape to them. There’s also a TON of colors to choose from. The colors above, from the pinks to the grey, are…Orchid 216, Hot Pink 217, Rhododendron 181, Cantaloupe 209, Automatic Orange 276, Mandarin 159, Dandelion 104, Lemon Chiffon 182, Maize 220, Celadon 204, Sprout 249, Clover 127, Lupid 253, Riviera 274, Turk & Caicos 292, Freesia 180, Hydrangea 214, Amethyst 215, On the Rock 283.

I also ordered a variety of Kaffe Fassett prints recently from Canton Village Quilt Works. I love the bright colors and really can’t believe it’s taken me this long to own some of these prints.

I also bought some dots. You just can’t have too many dots! These came from both Canton Village Quilt Works and Moona Fabrics.

Have you seen the new Art Gallery Fabrics line out, Rhapsodia? This one is really stunning, I can’t wait to get my hands on some. Art Gallery is doing a GIVEAWAY right now, so be sure to check it out!

luscious fabrics! You are inspiring me to try a quilt in solids!
That Rhapsodia pile does look so inviting!
Rhapsodia is gorgeous, but so are those Kaffe fabrics! I’m like you…always been drawn to them, but never purchased any. I’ll probably have to remedy that sometime soon
ooohhh, you speak my fabric language!
Those Kaffe Fassett prints are GORGEOUS! Ugh — now it’s Friday of Guilt and Shame, because I am going to order that fabric today and smuggle it into the house when my husband isn’t looking. He thinks I should use up the fabric I already have before I buy any more, since it’s piled all over my sewing room and I can barely cut a path from my sewing machine to the ironing board. You enabler, you!
I am lovin’ those solids and I look forward to seeing what you make of them!
I love the new fabrics and the way you put them together, so very inspiring…would love to win the fabric…how does it get any better than that!
Love all the fabrics ~ especially the Kaffe and the dots! I’ve been collecting both to make a Pickle Dish quilt.
Looking forward to see what you’ve been working on.
I have a ton of the Kaffe polka dots, and they are a great blender. My fav is the pink and orange……
Now I know I don’t have enough dots !)
All I have to say is yum!!
I cannot wait to see the new patterns.
Cheers!
