Park City Girl is holding a really neat event, the Bloggers Quilt Festival. Basically it’s a way for all the bloggers out there to share their favorite quilt they’ve made. Why not join in the fun?
I’m including my Good Folks String Quilt. It’s by far my favorite quilt to date. I love the design, I love the hard work I put into it, I love the Anna Maria Horner Good Folks fabric. Pictures just don’t do it justice. I keep in on my couch where the colors just make me so happy as the days get a bit drearier. My kids love playing on it and staring at the design. Overall, it’s just a very happy quilt. You can read more about it here.

Today the family and I went into Chicago to the Renegade Craft Fair. I received an email last week from Etsy about the show – they were one of the sponsors. It was a beautiful day, 75, not a cloud in the sky. There were a lot of great artists there and it was fun to see what’s new in the hip, modern crafting world! I saw a purse made out of Flea Market Fancy and was tempted to buy it for the fabric!
I kept thinking about how cool it would be to have a booth and sell my stuff there. But then I started having flashbacks to helping my mom at craft shows when I was growing up (she made and sold stained glass) and I decided it was better to be a consumer today.
A look at the booths, up and down the street. There were a LOT of artists!
My daughter Avery, all tuckered out:
