Welcome Lark Cottons!

I am excited to share with you a new sponsor on my blog, online fabric shop Lark Cottons! Lark Cottons is owned and operated by Heather in Portland, Oregon. She is a growing shop of over 400 bolts of beautiful fabrics. Heather sells fabric in 1/2 yard increments as well as Fat Quarters (love when shops offer FQs!)

Heather comes from a family of seamstresses and quilters but it was only in the last 5 years, through her sister, that she discovered a love for modern quilting and contemporary fabrics. She told me “With a background in architecture, the bold designs and beautiful fabrics appeal to both my love of craft and detail and construction, and also my creative side.” Having a technical background myself, I am definitely relate to what she is saying.

Heather is offering 10% off all purchases through Thursday with coupon code FRESH10.

I love clicking through fabrics shops that are new to me, and Lark Cottons is no exception. So many beautiful fabrics.

I’m really enjoying Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934. I’ve been trying to collect more fabric with letters and words and those little typewriter keys are just too perfect.

You know I love Art Gallery fabrics, check out these beauties by Pat Bravo.

I really love these Oliver + S dots for stash building. I have the pink myself and the hand of the fabric is quite nice.

Heather also blogs at Green Pea Studio, and look, she even participated in the Summer Sampler Series I hosted along with Lee and Katie!

Besides staying busy with Lark Cottons, Heather is a mom to a teenage daughter and also works part time in an architecture office. In her rare downtime, she still sews and occasionally sells finished goods in her Etsy shop.

Welcome Heather, I’m excited to have Lark Cottons join the Fresh Lemons team!

How exciting! I didn’t know that there WAS an online fabric store in Portland (where I live, I might add). I will definitely check out her store!
