Welcome DuckaDilly – and a Coupon Code

Today I’m very excited to share my newest blog sponsor, DuckaDilly! I think you all are really, really, really going to love this shop. I asked owner Lesley to tell me a little about her shop, and how she got started.

DuckaDilly, which specializes in Liberty of London fabric, is a boutique fabric studio located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Owner Lesley started DuckaDilly just over two years ago out of a love for the luxurious and whimsical prints of Liberty. Lesley has been surrounded by Liberty fabrics her entire life. She watched her mother sew beautiful clothing with Tana Lawn, and she even took Lesley to the Liberty store in London to see the amazing display of fabrics.”

Monthly Fabric Bundle at Duckadilly

“Loving everything English, Lesley named her studio DuckaDilly, which was the sweet nickname Winston Churchill called his daughter, Marigold. The marigold is also their logo.”

If you are purchasing quarter yards, just leave a note in the comments during checkout and Lesley will cut your fabric into Fat Quarters if desired. She also cuts all Tana Lawn as Fat Quarters.

Duckadilly carries yardage, bundles, Liberty of London Lifestyle fabrics and even monthly subscription clubs.

I lived in England for 27 years and love the Liberty Fabrics before I was a quilter (gasp!) I went to an open air market and saw bolts of Liberty of London fabrics. They were very floral and to me very dated, needless to say hindsight is torture. As a quilter my head beats itself up all the time cause I only bought 4 pieces and have never used them! I still wonder whether or not they “fell” off the back of a truck! The store is amazing though. from the front it doesn’t look like much but inside is like a eastern bazaar of color and vibrant prints and florals. Im hoping to go back the next time we visit family.

The botanical floral print was so gorgeous! I would love to simply frame a piece of that. Wow! Thank you so much for making this gorgeous fabric. I’m bookmarking this for future purchases.

We lived in Bermuda for a few years & Trimmingham’s carried Liberty of London fabrics. We made gorgeous dresses with matching hats–we were really turned out. Your shop will be visited often I’m sure.
