The wavy line quilting is soooo nice for this quilt. It reminds me of waving flags. Great choice.

Did you use the walking foot instead of the dual feed?

Hi Carmen – yes, this time I did. I’m working on getting the hang of all my feet on the new machine. Since I used my dual feed for quilting the lines on my last quilt, I thought I’d try out my walking foot this time. If you don’t have a walking foot though, the dual feed would also work for this type of quilting.

I just LOVE this! I went today and purchased fabric (since I simply don’t have enough!) to do this in blues and greens! Will be cutting/sewing tonight 🙂 and am sure it will be a much loved gift!
