Have you ever wondered, “I wonder what all the Summer Sampler Series blocks would look like in a quilt together?” No? 🙂 Ok, probably not. But as someone who has been completely immersed in them, I definitely have! Over the last week, I spent a bit of time in Adobe Illustrator mocking up all the blocks that have been part of all three Summer Samplers – 2011, 2016, and 2017.
This quilt is huge – king sized at 92″ x 108″. There are 49 blocks. I spaced them out so there is an inch between the block rows and about 3-1/4″ between the block columns. I mocked them up using the colors from the Cotton + Steel Basics collections. I am so tempted to make this! (Not sure when, but… 🙂 )
It’s not too late to join in at the sale pricing for the 2017 Summer Sampler Quilt Along. The discount ends on Monday, which also happens to be the day we release the first block pattern! I’m excited to get started…and if anyone happens to make *this* big quilt, please let us know and send a picture!
