Solids Sneak Peek

The beginning of my next quilt - and my first solids quilt! For some reason I have never made a quilt from all solids but it was one of the things on my list of goals for 2011. I'm using my Off-Centered Squares pattern which I used last month with Anna Maria Horner's Innocent Crush line.

Eight of the solids used in this new quilt are from this Moda cross weave bundle at The Fabric Quarter. (Flamingo, Lipstick, Scarlet, Coral, Apple, Spearmint, Ocean, Sky.) The tan is Essex Linen in Sand, purchased from Keri at Sew Deerly Loved on Etsy. The white is Kona White. The colors are so fresh and the fabric is lightweight, I think this will be the perfect quilt for Spring.

My iron died this week which really put a damper on my ability to sew much of anything, but a new one has arrived so I am back in business. More to come soon!
