Not a lot of sewing this Memorial Day weekend but I did manage to get a bit of decorating time in and wanted to share some photos. I made these using wooden letters from Michael’s, a bit of Mod Podge and some scrapbook paper. There are lots of Mod Podge directions online, here are some for making letters.

The paper I used is Cosmo Cricket and October Afternoon. I really wish these came as fabric, I would buy them up in a heartbeat!

Sewing Room Wall

I added my latest Framed Fairy Tales quilt, another framed mini, and the letters to my sewing room wall. Love how it is coming together.

Flowers are finally blooming here, it seems Spring has arrived just in time for Summer to take over in 3 weeks!

I love your ‘s’ ‘e’ ‘w’ letters. I think we have the same sewing room decorating taste. My space is the same colors as your fairy tale mini & urban circus minis and I have those letter balls from pier1 too! Mine spell out imalisawork… it was a little pricey and it took me forever to find all the letters and ones that looked nice – some were so blurry.

I love scrapbooking and October Afternoon as much as quilting. Their papers do look like fabric. Perfect for a scrapbooking quilter (or quilting scrapbooker). Your room looks great.

You could print the paper on to fabric or contact the manufacturer and ask that it be loaded on to Spoonflower.

Soooo cute! You’ve inspired me to switch up my sewing room decor. Right now it’s all white and hot pink, but I think I need to freshen it up a bit. Thanks~

Hi, I love your letters and your mini quilt. I was wondering though if the “live in the sunshine… Etc” is a quilt too?
