I’m in the mood to make some new pillows and have been searching Flickr for inspirations. No shortage there! I plan on using Anna Maria Horner’s Loulouthi Clippings in Passion for the central fabric. Now I just need a plan…

So would a pillow be a good way to start quilting? A huge quilt seems a bit daunting, but a pillow seems like it might be easier…or is it harder because it’s smaller pieces to work with?

Susan, a pillow would be a great place to start! They don’t take a lot of fabric and are *very* easy to maneuver when quilting. If you don’t want to tackle the zipper, you can do an envelope enclosure.
