Oval Elements Giveaway!

You may remember a few weeks ago when I hosted a giveaway on my blog of Pat Bravo’s Pure Elements line. I wasn’t surprised there was such a big response, the fabric is simply beautiful. Well what did surprise me was that none other than THE Pat Bravo took notice of the response and asked if I would host a giveaway of her very own. Um, I didn’t have to think that one over, OF COURSE!

Pat has generously donated two Fat Quarter sets of her entire range of Art Gallery Oval Elements for two readers to win! Yep, it’s like Christmas has come early around here!

This is another giveaway that I’m very jealous I can’t win, but I will tell you that I happen to own a handful of these fabrics and they are completely beautiful in person. They feel silky smooth, have amazing color, perfect for your fabric stash.

All you need to do to enter is leave a comment telling me what you would do with the fabrics if you win them.

You can keep in touch with Pat and see the latest on her new fabric lines on her blog, Facebook page or Twitter.

I will pick a winner this Thursday, November 3rd, in the evening Chicago time. This giveaway is open to international entries. Good luck everyone!

***** Comments are now closed. I will post the winners shortly! *****

650 comments – wow! Now here are the winners!

    October 31, 2011

I am becoming more and more interested in making “flat” colour quilts i.e. quilts using tone on tone fabrics – been glued to Weeks Ringle’s books for days now. I think these wonderful Patricia Bravo fabrics would be great for something like that because they are just a bit more interesting than a plain colour but there is no prominent pattern to distract you. (And I already have some of the eggplant oval fabric, so I know just how gorgeous the hand on these really is.)
P.S. You can’t see it, but my hand is up saying “Pick me, pick me!”

  429. Amy C

LOVE! These are AWESOME! I would probably hoard them for a little while, because I don’t have much of a fabric stash (beginning quilter in da house!). I think they would look cool in your Stepping Stones pattern, or one of my friends is doing this “twister” kind of pattern (I forget the name of it, I’m sorry, but they’re like wonky non-pointy pinwheels!) but it looks really cool, and I think it would look awesome in different colors of a similar fabric. I’d just need to find a good background! πŸ˜€ Thank you for hosting the giveaway!

  484. Lynn Dunn

My 6 yr old daughter is a heart patient that has had 25 heart surgeries and 3 bypass surgeries. Since my daughter hates the feel and look of the teal green with drunk looking dogs on the hospital issued gowns I would use the material to make her hospital gowns that are soft, pretty and fun like her. We have made 2 now for her to wear and one for a hospital friend. They girls loved them and made them happy. When you spend as much time as my daughter has in the hospital the flowers, stuffed animals and balloons get old. It is all about a cool gown and cool blankets. Thanks for the giveaway, and thanks for the consideration. Let me know if you would like to see one of our gowns that we have already made!!

  524. Nicole Gendy

Hope I’m not too late! I love these fabrics! There’s never enough of dots in the stash. And these are special, I would even use them as main fabric for my bags. Of course they would complete perfectly all other projects: bags, quilts, table runners, pouches.. really everything.

I love dots, circles, tiny squares, etc. I would add some of my “shape” fabric in stash to this and make a totally awesome quilt. I would save a scrap to use in my first ever “tiny block” Thank you for the opportunity to feed my fabric hunger. I long to own it all!!! πŸ™‚

Hopefully I am not to late for a chance to win. I have a soft spot for Pat Brovo. I would love to make your kaleidoscope kite quilt (I am not brown nosing). I have been dream of making that quilt for a while now but I have not had large enough “scraps” or enough of coordinating fabrics to pull it together. Thanks for having such an inspirational site.

When I see these – a quilt with all these colors comes to mind…some kind of color-run with either light gray or black as a unifying background…Ah, inspirations, inspirations!!

So gorgeous… Since a whole FQ pack would make many a project I’d start with a HST quilt and follow that with some some Christmas gifts of mug rugs, potholders, oven mitts and the like. It’s a win win for everyone. Thanks so much for the wonderful giveaway!!
