It is now December and we are in full Christmas mode at my house. Is everyone working on gifts for the holidays? If you are looking for the just the right fabric for your next project (or handmade gift), you are in luck today. Moona Fabrics has generously offered to give away this beautiful Fat Quarter bundle.
The fabric is the Vogue Blue palette from the Modernology collection by Art Gallery. They added in a few Pure Elements solids as well, aren’t they just beautiful? You know I can go on and on about how wonderful these Art Gallery fabrics feel!
In addition to the fabric giveaway, Moona Fabrics is also offering a 10% off coupon through Thursday, using coupon code FRESHLEMONS. So nice!
All you need to do to enter the giveaway is leave a comment. I’d love to hear what everyone is working on this holiday season. I will pick a winner Thursday evening (December 8th). Good luck!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Wow, most of you have a LOT going on right now! I’m impressed! (And kind of feeling like a slacker too!)
I’m closing the comments and will be right back with a winner.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The winner is number 211, right smack in the middle. WandaFish said “I love the feel of Art Gallery fabrics and these look absolutely delicious – thanks for the giveaway! I’ve got a couple more Christmas stockings to make, dolls house curtains, little girl dresses and a baby blanket on the top of my ‘to do’ list I think I’m going to run out of time!”
Congratulations and good luck to everyone with finishing their holiday sewing!
Michelle @ the quilted tortoise
What a gorgeous array of colours! I’m bust finishing my Christmas block of the month that I’ve been doing since January! I’ve done some of the quilting so my plan now is to get the binding on and then finish the rest of the quilting. That way it can be up for Christmas finished or not!
Kathy
Thanks for the great giveaway! I am working on Step 3 of Bonnie Hunter’s Mystery Quilt – Orca Bay. I’m about 1/4 of the way done. Hopefully I’ll have a post this afternoon on my blog saying that I’m done. http://new2quilting.blogspot.com/
Katarina
Wow, I love Art Gallery and I don’t have the Modernology line yet so it would make me very happy to win.
I am overwhelmed by projects right now. I have plenty of pouches and bags to do as gifts to my friends and family and have to finish the placemates for my blog readers. Not talking about Advent calendar and Christmas decorations.
Maxine
I am working on my Drunkard’s Path QA quilt. Thanks for all the fabric in the giveaway. Pretty stuff!
cynthia
The fabrics are really beautiful! I am making a vintage looking paper Christmas banner and sewing an 18″ doll wardrobe for my grandaughter. They are almost as time consuming as making clothing for children! I hope I get it all done 🙂
Joyatee
Those fabrics are gorgeous! I love the color combination.
This Christmas, I’d love to finish making quilted stockings for everyone, but I may be biting more than I can handle.
Leslie
I just finished tea towels and I am starting aprons for my neighbor and her sister. These fabrics would be a beautiful in a spring project to work on through the winter! Thanks for the giveaway!

I have loads of projects in my head but I need to organise it into a realistic schedule. At the moment I am working on decorations and little presents for friends. Tea Wallets, sewing companions and bags.

What a fab collection. I’m making a redwork embroidery wall hanging for my dad, a bird mobile and a purse for my granny, cushions for my gran, and a little purse for my mum (who already got her main pressie in September). I’m also making my friend’s 40th birthday pressie bag and purse. Hmm, best get off the computer and get to it!
Thanks for the chance to win :o)
Toni
Fun fabrics! I especially like the grey one. Right now I’m working on some festive pillows, a quilt for my sister-in-law, and trying to decide on teacher gifts. Totally stumped on the last one. Thanks for the giveaway!
Kristin
I’m in the middle of a sudden cross-country move! My Christmas projects are seriously lacking 🙁 This giveaway is awesome, though. Thanks for hosting it, Faith! 🙂
charlotte
I love the fabrics. I always enter fabric giveaways so I can get fabric that I might not otherwise know about. If I don’t win, I sometimes go out and buy it anyway because it is that beautiful. I am working on some quilts for grandsons and pillows for daughters right now.
Jo
Great fabrics. Mostly I am working on keeping my sanity right now! Way to many projects that need to be finished and I know I will never get it all finished. Well there is always next year!
Anita
Wow, that is gorgeous! I will be making some coaster sets this week for a friend who wants and order to send back home to Singapore. =) Thank you for a chance to win.

I am “Flirting with White” in my latest quilt that is mainly white with a splash of colour in the offset squares within a square. Having fun!
Jane
Oooh, lovely florals!
Right now, I’m working on some little reindeer softies for my children. But since the cutting thing always takes so much longer than you expect, I’m going to bed (it’s bedtime in Australia!) and I’ll aim to finish them tomorrow night.
Carolyn S.
Lovely fabrics, thank you for the opportunity to win!
I’m sewing along with Bonnie Hunter’s mystery quilt, Orca Bay, and that’s keeping me too busy to work on any holiday projects. I might take some time out and do up some pot holders or something, just for stocking gifts.
Laura Jane
Lovely lovely fabrics! I’m currently working on 3 pillows, 2 laptop cases, 2 guitar straps, and a whole bunch of christmas cookie kits. Its a busy time!
Betty Ayers

Laecen Seese
I am working on a “Bright and Merry” Christmas runner and coordinating Christmas Tree shaped napkins. Since we moved into our new house, we get to host the family Christmas Breakfast and present opening this year. I’m very excited to complete my projects in time! If I can get our Chirstmas stockings made for everyone and personalized, I can breathe again! Love the colors and patterns in the bundle!
Heather
I have never seen this fabric line before, but love the almost vintage pattern of the prints. I have already finished two quilts for my nieces, working on one for my Grandma, and will make a bag for my future mother-in-law.
Thanks for the giveaway!

I’m working on a “Counting Sheep Quilt” https://thebramblepatch.co.uk/AddToBasket.aspx?ID=8017&ProductCode=PCS&ProductName=Counting%20Sheep%20Pattern for a dear friend.
We have a joke about sheepies and are keen knitters and spinners. So this is getting done and posted off to Sweden for her Christmas pressie….
Just need to get the Christmas tree up in the living room and then get back to it!!
Rachel
I am working on a lap quilt for my mother-in-law, a t-shirt quilt for my dad, and a bunch of no-sew tutus for my daughters to wear at Disney World in January.
Jeannette
The big thing I am working on is a bed quilt for the girl. I hope to give it to her on Xmas eve before bed. 🙂 But I’ve got several other small gifts in the works too. I need more time!
Dell
Beautiful fabric. Just finished iPad cover, working on needle books for sewing friends, Yule House ornaments, and few other items.

I am working on finishing up two Christmas runners and need to get a pillowcase made ( train pattern, of course) for my grandson.

Beautiful fabric! I have too many projects started for Christmas-knitted socks, scarf and plan on sewing a few felted wool scarves.
JustPam
This fabric would be perfect for purses. I am making bags and totes for gifts, a table topper, and a quilt that isn’t going to be ready. I did finish one quilt and a camera bag. I got side tracked and made an Elf. Too many fun things to make and too little time.
Cheri
I’ve sure been admiring that fabric! I’m finishing a smallish Christmas quilt, which will be a gift.
Michele
Gorgeous fabrics! I’m working on a couple of charity projects.
Patti
Beautiful bundle of fabrics and what a great time for a giveaway! It would be like getting a Christmas gift from Santa! I’m just finishing up a table runner at the moment. Thanks for the opportunity to win.
Julie
Well, my grand plans were for a tree skirt, a fabric Christmas tree (you know, one the kids would be allowed to play with), a quilt and a few gifts. So far I have accomplished none! If I can accomplish the gifts then I’ll be happy. The other things were for me and can wait until next year I guess 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway Faith and Moona!
Sandi K.
Working on a baseball themed quilt for my son and several orders for mug rugs. I also have a count down to Christmas stack waiting to be cut out and pieced, but that may have to wait until after the holiday. Thanks for the chance!
KimT
Lovely fabric line – thanks for the chance to win. I am currently making myself a pair of very much needed oven mitts – I have burned my fingers through the holes on my old ones too many times!
Laura
Wow, I was going to copy the previous comment word by word (sorry, Julie, but it seems we’re exactly in the same situation). I hope finishing the tree-skirt, but probably for 2012 Christmas.
Thanks for the chance to win!
Jill
I LOVE this fabric collection – my fingers are crossed!!!

Boy, what beautiful fabrics! Thx for the chance.
I’m working on a messenger bag, pattern by Candy Glendenning, as a gift using nice weight fabrics from my stash of upholstery samples. I knew that would come in handy someday.
Sam
Beautiful fabrics! I’m currently working on too many quilts to count – hope to be done with most of them by christmas, though!
Jean
Had to try for these, just love the colors. I really enjoy your site. I’m trying to find tutorials for Christmas projects, it’s very frustrating when you have no imagination and need tutorials for everything.
Dolores @ A Labour of Love
Top of my list are Santa sacks for my three kids, I would love to make a Lone Star table runner in holiday fabric too. Otherwise, I have a long list of gifts I would like to make, I’m hoping I can pull it off.

Christmas sewing…I got roped into making a queen-sized black & white quilt in 3 weeks D: This is my second 2 color quilt EVER, so I’m hoping I don’t get too bored. I got to choose 6 black-on-black & 8 white-on-white prints to try and liven it up a bit!
candy
Gorgeous. I just finished a bag full of mug rugs for gifts.

How totally fun! I think that is a great online fabric store and I love that fabric. Thanks for the opportunity! I actually don’t think I will be making anything else for Christmas, but may gift this to my sister, who is also a quilter. I have her name and need something else for her. Hugs!

Nita
Gorgeous. Today I’ll finish up my shopping for the Christmas Bag/stockings. This year I’m making bags to put all the goodies in, the stockings just aren’t big enough. 🙂 For the little ones I’m making growth charts, one grandson is getting a quilt made with Oklahoma State Fabric and bandanas, the backing will be horses (I’ll have to check to see who made it, I just buy fabric I like), granddaughter will get some type of princess themed quilt, and a denim/flannel rag quilt for the older grandson. The other three grandkids don’t get quilts, their mom has asked me to quit making quilts for them. Bother. I had to BUY them something, but it’s done. ~Nita
Linz
That is such a beautiful FQ bundle!!! Yea!

Hello,
I’m new to all this and began quilting just a couple of months ago. I’m really loving it, but struggling to put colours and patterns together, it doesn’t come easily to me, but hopefully in time it will. I spent hours looking at all the quilts on the internet until I came to your website which is really fresh & bright as I love bright colours, thanks for all the ideas.
Cathy
Pretty fabric. Hopefully I will be able to finish and quilt and table runner before Christmas day!
Kinda Crunchy Kate
Those are beautiful fabrics! I’m working on a baby quilt and then I’m going to be starting on a quilt for me. (I always make quilts for other people, so I decided for my 30th birthday next year I would make a quilt for myself.) I always have lots of plans for Christmas sewing, but never quite get them made.
Flaun
Of course, I’m working on too many things, but on the machine right now is a quilt I gave to my sweetie for Christmas last year – at least the top. I’ve created a back and am trying to finish the quilting on it so I can give it to him two years in a row! It’s big enough for our bed and (don’t ask me why) I picked a fairly dense style of quilting, so I may be pushing my luck, but I’m trying!
Karen White
Beautiful fabrics! What a nice give away. I’m finishing up a pirate quilt (Riley Blake fabric) for the 6 yo grandson. thanks for the opportunity, k
Laurie
I just started a motorcycle themed quilt for my 2 year old – it’s a bit ugly but he loves motorcycles!

jodi meenan

Truth be told, I haven’t finished my daughter’s Halloween costume yet. I have a rag quilt (originally typed guilt there, Hmmm) for my son and some doll dresses for my nieces. I’d love to start something new, though.
Marianne
Those fabrics are lovely, and the solids match perfectly. I’m working on bags to give as holiday gifts. Fat quarters are perfect for those.
Teresa
Great colors! And love the design. I’m a bit over committed this season making two table runners and coordinating place mats; three aprons (Kokka fabric); several tote bags (with what I have in my stash); and an Amish Cathedral Window wall hanging (Liberty of London fabric). Maybe after the holidays I will return to the quilt I’m making for me. . .

Like so many here, I am feverishly trying to finish up things. I have a tree skirt and a quilt that need binding, and I am going to make a sew of sewing room accessories for my sister in law that I haven’t even started yet. I often wish there was a way to give up sleep for the month of December! I always tell myself I am not going to do this, but every year I still seem to do it…..
elsa

My house is a wreck with my projects – I’ve gotten carried away. I just finished the top of the quilt with my 12 days of Christmas qal blocks. Love it so much, I am putting together a kit with the leftover fabrics to do the same quilt again sometime in 2012. Doing lap quilts for all three of my young adult children (two down, one to go)! And some oven mitts for Dirty Santa gift exchanges.
Elizabeth
Wow, what gorgeous fabric! I am doing the final touches decorating, and hope to do some organizing in my sewing room and then maybe tackle one of my UFO projects.
Christine

I love the cool feeling of the chosen materials. The hardest part of quilting is in choosing the color scheme. Currently working on two smaller size quilts for my grand-daughters. A welcome relief after finishing a queen-sized one for my sister. My next quilt might be able to fulfill a dream of mine…I would love to do a free flow one, though I’m not sure I have to the courage.
Veronica

So there will be no handmade gifts this year, and I’m sure my family will rejoice and revel in their boughten items. But I can use this fabric in January!!! Thanks!
Dorothy

WOW! Soooo pretty! I am focusing on knitting gifts right now (my sewing machine died, so I have no choice!) Hopefully Santa will bring me the new one I’ve been eyeing and I will be back in the sewing saddle! ; )

I’m working on my daughter’s 13th birthday gift right now. We made a pink/brown/white quilt together. It’s been machine quilted and now I’m waiting to bind it. I want to give her the quilt first and have her make the final decision on what the binding should look like. I know she will love it! My baby is growing up too fast.
Paula
I’m only making one present this year – a small bag for my modern guild swap. Other than that I’m plugging away at all my UFOs … and relaxing. Thank you so much for the giveaway!
paulette
while i would love to make all my dear and thoughtful friends a quilt, this year i am making table runners with lots of sparkle and glitter rather than traditional christmas figures. and looking torward the months after the holidays i’m already collecting bright spring colors and themes.

I am up to my eyeballs in APRONS. Still needing to get a baby quilt done and some other Christmas presents sewn. Wanted to make some Mug Rugs (is that what they are called?) Time will tell how much gets done! I love these fabrics and love following along…I know I wouldn’t be so eager to do any sewing if I wasn’t so motivated by these blogs and all the pretty fabrics!

I am *trying* to find some spare time to finish a bed-sized quilt for my daughter. If I can finish it before Christmas, I can take it with my to my mom’s and use her short-arm quilter to do the quilting! That’s great motivation to get it done. 🙂
Kathleen
As usual, I have way too many presents to sew that are not yet complete: an apron, three tutus, three princess wallhangings, a tote bag, three quilts, a voile scarf, two skirts and bird ornaments for the teachers. I could really use some new fabric! Thank you and Merry Christmas.
Amy
I am currently working on a secretly Christmas-y quilt for my fiance using Cosmo Cricket’s 1934. He’s Jewish so we don’t do a lot for Christmas but I like to do some subtle decorating. I’m also working on some jackets and hats for family.
Michelle
I’m finishing up a Swoon quilt for my mother for Christmas. I thought that my one project was stressful until I read some of the other posts!!
carrie
I’m working on some table runners, potholders, aprons and dishtowels.
Carrie
I just joined and am loving the tips and color combinations of fabrics on this site. I just finished a quilt top of pieced butterflies for my niece that is due in feb and made two more at the same time for Project Linus. I recently inherited a bunch of fabric from my mother who passed in Sept, and I decided to make quilts to donate to kids with her fabric. I love the fat quarter bundle and I think it would make some beautiful quilts!
Heather
I am working on scarves, blanket and a christmas quilt
Jane Capriotti
These are beautiful fabrics, I just love the bright colors. With a pack like this, one could do so many things. Thank you for the opportunity to win them.
KellyS
I am making a fabric doll carrier for my husband’s niece, and hopefully will get a few quiet books done for my boys, or doodle pads. They are two years old though, so if I have to wait until their birthday, at least I don’t feel overwhelmed to get them done. I would also like to make Christmas placemats for the house. A full plate, that’s for sure!
Lindsey
This giveaway is awesome! I am in the middle of all my Christmas gift crafting right now, but I have plans for a quilt for myself in the new year.

Thank you for the lovely giveaway. I’m working on two dufflebags for my niece and nephew, a crochet sweater for my newest nephew, a Carpenter’s Star quilt for my sister, and some potholders. Hopefully it will all get done…
Heather
I absolutely LOVE Art Gallery fabrics and Pat Bravo designs. They’re the first fabrics I ever worked with on my very first quilt and it wasn’t until later that I learned to truly appreciate the fine quality of the fabrics.
I’ve given up on quilts as Christmas gifts this year. Time is a little tight. Instead I’ve been whipping up lined drawstring bags to stuff with goodies.
Ginny
I haven’t worked with Art Gallery fabrics before, but trust your recommendation on the feel. The colors and designs look like a promise of an island vacation or Springtime around the corner and we have all of winter to face yet!
I’ve modified a tote bag pattern to just fit a purchased bag of cookies. The combo makes a dandy little gift and I’m tickled to see the tote filled with dried flowers or greens as a decorative element in successive years.
Just being introduced to these fabrics is a gift!
Christine
Love the fabric.
Right now I am working on unpacking a house. Before Christmas I need to finish up three cloaks for my children. And five photo albums for the loving adults in their lives. Till Christmas is over I can’t think much about quilting. Boohoo.
