Modern Machine Quilting ~ Blog Hop!

Modern Machine Quilting by Catherine Redford

Today I’m kicking off a celebration for one of my talented friends and fellow member of the Naperville Modern Quilters Guild, Catherine Redford. Catherine has just released Modern Machine Quilting: Straight Lines, Spirals, Serpentines, and More!, a DVD/instant download video available through Interweave.

This is Catherine. Yep, she’s as nice as she looks. 🙂 And bonus, she has a British accent. I love listening to people with accents.

I’ve been lucky enough to see much of Catherine’s work in person over the last couple of years. It is top notch, exceptional quality. She is a precision quilter and that quality of work shows in this video course.

Just looking at her projects shown on your page makes me want to get out the quilt tops left to be quilted. I love what I see and can’t wait to learn what she teaches.

I’d really like to see more ideas for quilting with my walking foot as I don’t free motion quilt – either hand quilt or someone gets a good deal on tops at my estate sale!
