  • My view for the week. #summersampler2018 #moderntraditionalism #sampler #quiltalong #quilt
  • We are traveling to Norway for our final block of the #summersampler2018 Quilt Along! Designer @warmfolk was inspired by a nomadic art project by architect Sami Rintala called “SALT.” The installation is modeled after the fish racks along the coast where, traditionally, fish were dried in the harsh winds before winter. (Third photo source: Gunnar Holmstad)
  • Worked all week on this (sideways...need a taller design wall) quilt! Gifting it today!
  • Inspired by Art Deco in NYC, @the_tattooed_quilter designed the Chrysler Building block! (Third photo source: “Chrysler Building” by Supermac1961 (CC BY 2.0)) #summersampler2018
  • Moais, designed by @carolina_oneto , is inspired by the ancient statues on Easter Island. (Third photo credit: Ian Sewell • CC BY 2.5) #summersampler2018
  • Katie of @swimbikequilt designed this block, Petra, inspired by ancient cities in Jordan. #summersampler2018
  • This block is called Pantheon, designed by my cohost @lee.a.heinrich ! Lee was inspired by the ceiling of The Pantheon in Rome (second photo by Lee Heinrich) #summersampler2018
  • I’m so behind on sharing my #summersampler2018 blocks! 🙈 I’ll be catching up starting...now! I designed this block, Pisa, based on some of the beautiful detail work on the Leaning Tower of Pisa. (Third photo credit Sébastien Bertrand (CC-By 2.0))
