Big Welcome to Surly Sheep!

Today I am really excited to introduce you to my latest blog sponsor, Surly Sheep. If you like color (like me) or scrappy quilting (like me) or applique (like my mom) or are trying to collect a variety of fabrics without spending a small fortune (like most quilters!), then I think you are really going to want to keep reading.

Come on, how cute is this sheep!?

Brooke Snow started Surly Sheep as a knit pattern shop. She then noticed a need in the quilting world…a lack of specific color fabric bundles. Brooke lives in a very small town so she found she needed to buy her quilting fabric online. While trying to buy some specific colors in small quantities for a scrap quilt, she discovered that there is no efficient way to find 30 fat eighths of anything. So she vowed to offer stash builders an easy and economical way to build their fabric stash in preparation for more scrappy quilts.

I *love* these…color wheel bundles available in Fat Eighths which measure 9″ x 22″ and Fat Sixteenths which measure 9″ x 11″.

Also, if you are looking for specific colors, you can shop by just that color bundle.

She even offers specialty bundles that combine some attractive and coordinating colors together.

So you can see why I’m really excited about this shop, right? You can follow Surly Sheep on Twitter. Thank you for supporting my sponsors everyone!

Talk about painting with fabric! You could certainly do that with these bundles of rainbow. Sigh…

I love Brooke! I messaged her a while back and got a beautiful bundle within days. I think I e-mailed her Thursday before a holiday weekend and got my package on Tuesday (or something crazy quick for the fact that it was a holiday weekend and she was putting together a custom bundle for me.)

How many times have I passed up a bundle because it included some colors I knew I would never use? This is bookmarked.

Really such a good idea. And I’m not sure I would have ever found them if they weren’t on your blog, so great collaboration, thanks.
