Awesome giveaway! I am pondering making a weekender bag out of some bella, although I think I would need to reinforce it somehow. If I get too scared of that idea then it needs to be made into a quilt for my living room. =)

I’m thinking these fabrics – and my leftovers from her first collection – would make great wonky log cabin blocks if alternated with solids or the right tone-on-tone fabrics. So now I really want to get his quilt made.) Anyway, I showed him this bundle the other day and he loves all of it! So long story short, I would make my four year old a quilt. πŸ™‚

I’m honestly not sure what I’d make. I’ve been experimenting with a lot of very modern, minimalist piecing lately, but I think that would be too expected with this fabric. I’d be tempted to do some large Dresden plates with some solids mixed in.

This fabric is SO fun! I have a perfect use for it – I’ve been asked to make quilts for young women that are pregnant and keeping their babies even though most of them have been pressured into terminating the pregnancy. This fabric is so modern and bright and fun, and it would be the perfect fabric for a quilt to say, “you’ve made a tough choice – here’s some encouragement for you!”
