Today I’m so excited to be able to share my first project as part of the Art Gallery Fabrics Fat Quarter Gang, the Fresh AG Tote!

I designed this tote with summer in mind, perfect for taking to the park or the pool. It’s a simple pattern for beginner bag makers as well. I’m off sewing with a few super cool friends in Michigan’s UP this weekend, but I thought I would share some new fabric photos with you while I am away. This is Indie by Art Gallery Fabrics. Pat Bravo’s new line will be available in August. I’m really loving the “Anthropologie” feel of the designs. Here is an Instagram small peek, on the right side of the photo, of what I’m planning for it.

Today is the day I finally get to spill the beans about a very exciting, year long adventure with Art Gallery Fabrics. A few months ago, Art Gallery asked me and 11 other bloggers to be part of a “Fat Quarter Gang”. (And if you are curious as to who the other bloggers involved are and also want to see THE MOST EMBARRASSING PICTURES of us on the internet, check out their blog post.) This was a no brainer for me. If you’ve been reading my blog for any amount of time you know I love working with their fabrics. Especially the Pure Elements solids which I used for my Summer Sampler Series quilt. They are quite possibly the silkiest feeling cotton fabrics out there.

Starting June 4th, there will be a *free* project tutorial by one of us in the Fat Quarter Gang on the Art Gallery blog every single week ~ bags, quilts, home decor, clothing…all sorts of good stuff! There will also be lots fabric giveaways associated with the projects.
