Seaside States Quilt Top
I’ve {finally} finished the quilt top for my month of the Sew New To Me Virtual Quilting Bee. I asked everyone in the group to make blocks using the Map of the States tutorial from Elizabeth at Oh, Fransson with a fun selection of Amy Butler Daisy Chain and a few coordinating Kona Solids. How great is my group? Their blocks are all fabulous and work perfectly together!
I added in the blocks with the white sashing, also using the Map of the States technique.
Tonight I’ll be working on the back. I have a plan in mind and fabric on hand. Then I just have to wait for the batting I ordered to be delivered. Can’t wait to share the finished quilt!

Gosh this is really nice. The addition of the white sashes stops it from being dark….keeps it fresh. You are very lucky!
Wow, I just love the colours in this.
Very, very pretty! The white sashing really sets the colors off. Great job!
Happy Quilting!
