Art Gallery Fabrics ~ Fat Quarter Gang

Today is the day I finally get to spill the beans about a very exciting, year long adventure with Art Gallery Fabrics. A few months ago, Art Gallery asked me and 11 other bloggers to be part of a “Fat Quarter Gang”. (And if you are curious as to who the other bloggers involved are and also want to see THE MOST EMBARRASSING PICTURES of us on the internet, check out their blog post.) This was a no brainer for me. If you’ve been reading my blog for any amount of time you know I love working with their fabrics. Especially the Pure Elements solids which I used for my Summer Sampler Series quilt. They are quite possibly the silkiest feeling cotton fabrics out there.

Starting June 4th, there will be a *free* project tutorial by one of us in the Fat Quarter Gang on the Art Gallery blog every single week ~ bags, quilts, home decor, clothing…all sorts of good stuff! There will also be lots fabric giveaways associated with the projects.

Don’t mess with the Fat Quarter Gang

I hope you are as excited as I am about the next year and don’t forget to bookmark the Art Gallery Fabrics blog so you can join the gang and keep up with all the projects.

Update – Be sure to join the Flickr group to post your finished project photos!

THis is hilarious! I love all the nicknames :) Lee’s picture reminds me of a gangsta joke the Front Range MQG had going during our retreat earlier this year. Something about cuttin’ people’s a**es with the rotary cutter. I wasn’t involved, of course.

Actually Faith yours is the coolest picture (though Sewja Boi wins best name for me) and I follow, like, all of these bloggers so I’m in no way biased….

Love the pictures Faith!! Sounds like it’s going to be great fun… and give the sewing machine back to your daughter – the ‘hello kitty’ Janome is hers – if I remember correctly?!

LOL – yes! She was not pleased that I took it for the photo! But there was no way I was strong enough to get the Bernina up on my shoulder and hold it there for photos. :)

Hi Carol – every Monday on the Art Gallery Fabrics blog there will be a tutorial for a different project. If you make that project, you can post a picture of it in their Flickr group.

So I googled my name, just to see what came up. Can I just say, I’m proud we share a name! Power to the Faith Jones’!
