Coin Stacks
I’m making progress on my stacked coin quilt for my mother-in-law’s birthday. I decided to follow the pattern on the Moda Bake Shop website, but I’m enlarging it to 32 coins high and 6 columns, rather than 5. I’m hoping it will be a good size for a picnic blanket for two people. Since I changed my mind on the size after I started, I had to order more charm packs. Hopefully they get here soon so I can keep working! I need to be done by the 14th – 10 days!
This is also my participation in the 2009 Coin Quilt Piece-Along.

Hi Angela – I LOVE your blog! I added it to my google reader.
These fabrics just scream “picnic!” And I love using charm packs for these quilts- not a lot of cutting, just chain piece the day away!
