An Update from Lark Cottons ~ and a Coupon!

Today I wanted to take a few minutes to share with you some big news from one of my sponsors. Heather over at Lark Cottons has been working hard for several months to move/rework her online shop and now it’s finished! There are a lot of new features that make it really easy to search and buy fabric.
· Fabric is now sold in 1/4 yard increments, with fat quarter cuts available at no additional charge. You have to add the fabric to the cart through the individual product page to get the fat quarter option box.
· Shop by color, theme, and fabric type in addition to the typical manufacturer, designer, and collection.
· There is now a “Wish List” where you can save favorites or see several fabric choices together on the same page.
· Fabric Cut discounts!
- Buy 3 yards or more of a single print and receive 10 cents off per yard.
- After cumulative purchases of 40 yards, receive 10 cents every yard. (in addition to three yard discount)
· Customer Appreciation Reward – receive a coupon code worth $20 for every $200 of accumulated purchases.
Heather has created a 10% off coupon code just for you (code = FRESH) and she is also offering a free fat quarter with purchases of one yard or more – good through the end of the month.
Note that the coupon code needs to get entered on the Shopping Cart page. If you go directly to checkout there’s not a spot for the code.
I hope you will go check out all Heather’s hard work and take advantage of that coupon! I see some new Summerville in her shop!

Big Welcome to Threadbias!
Today I’m really excited to introduce you to a new online sewing community, and a new sponsor of my blog, Threadbias. Threadbias was started by two quilter-sewists, Amanda and Rebecca, and a web developer, Alex. Joining the site is free and each member (called a “Threader”) can upload projects, add different projects to their favorites, check out discussion forums and user created groups. You also have the option to become a Professional member and list digital patterns for sale in your own customized shop. Basically, it’s a great new place for you to hang out with people like you that have a love of fabric and sewing!
This week Threadbias is celebrating their official launch with lots of fun and giveaways. So be sure to check out their blog to see what’s going on. And don’t forget to sign up here for an account so you can get started with this new online community. Thanks Threadbias, I’m very glad to have you on board here at Fresh Lemons!

Welcome Bloomerie Fabrics!

Those of you who visit my blog regularly may have noticed last week that I have a new sponsor on the blog. I’m happy to introduce Bloomerie Fabrics!
Bloomerie Fabrics is an online fabric shop owned by Jess and Jo, a couple of fabric fanatics and mother-daughter duo. They love doing just about anything creative – be it sewing, quilting, cooking, gardening, crafting and even coloring! Jess says “We firmly believe every gal should have her own big box of crayons. Guys, too!” I love their energy, don’t you?
Besides the shop, Bloomerie Fabrics blogs, tweets at @bloomerie and is on Facebook. You can also sign up for their newsletter here.
On to the fabric! Bloomerie Fabrics carry a lot of my favorite designers – Lizzy House, Melody Miller, Aneela Hoey, Heather Ross (sale!), Pat Bravo, Sweetwater, and lots lots more.
I love this new Lizzy House fabric, Hello Pilgram.
This Kitchy Kitchen fabric is pretty cool, especially that stripe.
Bloomerie also has loads of patterns, including a selection of downloadable patterns for people like me who like things immediately.
They also carry notions and trim, including…Baker’s Twine! I love that stuff.
Big thanks to Bloomerie Fabrics for joining the fun here at Fresh Lemons and also thank you to all my readers for your continued support of my sponsors!
